When content enters a corpus, preserve the source evidence
A later audit needs more than the ingestion timestamp. Keep verifiable source-rights observations beside document provenance.
Why this evidence matters
A later audit needs more than the ingestion timestamp. Keep verifiable source-rights observations beside document provenance.
A source URL and event time alone may not preserve what the site exposed at observation time. AcqPath records the result and uncertainty for review, not a licence or legal clearance.
Attach evidence to provenance
For corpus preparation use the actual purpose, normally ai-index; model-context use may require a separate ai-input evaluation. RAG is a workflow, not a purpose value.
In Observe or Attach mode, preserve the existing ingestion path and add source_rights metadata. Later the partner policy engine may decide whether a statement should block or require review.
